Description

1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and rub with garlic and thyme.

2. Brown both sides in hot oil, then cook through.

3. Peel and dice the apples.

4. Cook with a little water, sugar and butter until soft, then mash with a fork.

5. Boil the potatoes in salted water.

6. Serve the chops with the potatoes and the warm apple sauce.

Tip: The sweet-sharp apple sauce balances the richness of the pork beautifully.
